This course is aimed at helping students to become effective independent learners of the kind of English that is generally above the intermediate level—the level that they are supposed to have reached at certain points in their high-school years. In this class, students review basic English grammar, are trained in various reading skills through reading authentic English texts, and are taught more advanced English sentence patterns.
